Google and Samsung are actively collaborating on the development of new artificial intelligence capabilities for Galaxy S25 smartphones. Recently, promotional materials for the Galaxy S25 were leaked online, and one of the main novelties was the integration of Google Gemini with Samsung applications, including Samsung Calendar, Samsung Notes, and Samsung Reminder.

Here's What We Know

According to a new leak, Gemini will receive an extension for these apps that will allow artificial intelligence to work directly with them. Gemini will now be able to create, edit, and delete calendar events, as well as use image information to create events, view events over a period of time, and set up recurring events. In addition, Gemini will be able to create and summarise notes, search for notes by description and title, and create, edit, search for, and delete reminders.

Although these features do not allow Gemini to perform all the capabilities of these apps, it significantly increases its usefulness. This is also an interesting move on Google's part, as the company already has its own alternatives to Samsung Calendar and Samsung Notes, but decided to partner with Samsung to provide more features to its artificial intelligence on the Korean brand's devices.

It is worth noting that the source of this leak reports that these are not all Gemini extensions for Samsung apps. New features are expected to be released in the future, and it is also likely that these features will be available on older Samsung flagships after the update to One UI 7.
