The director of Dragon Age: The Veilguard director leaves BioWare: she had been leading the project since 2022

Corinne Bush, who has been the game director of Dragon Age: The Veilguard since February 2022, is leaving BioWare.

Rumours about her departure began to appear on the evening of 16 January and were confirmed by journalist Jeff Grubb. Eurogamer also confirmed that Bush would leave the company in the coming weeks.

Bush worked alongside creative director John Epler on the final stage of development of The Veilguard, which went through a decade-long development process and several reboots. The game received positive reviews from critics, but sales did not meet expectations.
