Chernobylite 2: Exclusion Zone is successfully running a Kickstarter campaign that has already exceeded its financial goal. In the first days of the campaign, the project raised enough funds to implement several extended goals.

Here's What We Know

The sequel promises to be a more open RPG where players will be able to build a reputation with three competitive factions: scientists, mercenaries, and mutants. Players will have the opportunity to choose from six classes and improve their attributes, which will allow them to create a unique character.

The game will feature a melee system, the ability to switch between third and first person, the transfer of all weapons from the original game, as well as online co-operative missions integrated into the storyline campaign.

The campaign is still 3 weeks away, and the authors have already raised $120 thousand out of the $98 thousand planned.

The game is expected to be released in 2025 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series.
