Oppo Find N5 tested in Geekbench with the new Snapdragon 8 Elite 7-core chip

In October 2024, Qualcomm introduced the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset with 8 cores and the other day it was revealed that the company has announced a new, 7-core version of this chip. According to recent reports, the Oppo Find N5 will be the world's first foldable phone equipped with the new Snapdragon 8 Elite version and Geekbench seems to confirm this.
Here's What We Know
According to the Oppo Find N5 (model PKH110) test in Geekbench, the device is powered by the 7-core Snapdragon 8 Elite version. It is also reported that there is also a satellite-enabled version of the N5 (model PKH120) and it is not yet clear whether this version will also use the new Snapdragon 8 Elite chip or will get the standard, 8-core variant of this chip.

In the single-core test, the device scored 2962 points, and in the multi-core test - 8370 points. Slightly lower multi-core test scores than the regular Snapdragon 8 Elite are apparently due to the disabling of a single core in the new version of the chip.
The Geekbench benchmark results also indicate that the Oppo Find N5 has 16GB of RAM and runs Android 15. The Find N5 is scheduled to launch in China in February.
