The overclocked MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset could be available as early as March and there's speculation on which smartphones

MediaTek could release a new Dimensity 9400+ chip as early as March this year, according to insider Digital Chat Station. According to him, the processor of the new chip will be overclocked, and soon after that devices using this chip will appear on the market.

Here's What We Know

The insider also reports that two new smartphones will soon be introduced with this chip: one with a small flat screen and a periscopic camera on the back, and the other a large camera phone and also with a flat screen. These could very well be the Oppo Find X8S and vivo X200S respectively, as they are expected to be announced during this period.

MediaTek usually introduces the Plus variant of its flagship chipset in the second half of the year, but the Dimensity 9400+ could be launched earlier and quickly adopted by manufacturers. In the standard version of the Dimensity 9400, the leading Cortex-X925 core runs at 3.63GHz, while the Plus version is expected to go up to 3.7GHz.
