Israel's Deputy Foreign Minister Sharren Haskel offered to hand over to Ukraine weapons seized from Israel's enemies, particularly in Lebanon.

Here's What We Know

The information was published by the Embassy of Ukraine in Israel on its official Facebook page. The weapons in question were seized from terrorist groups such as Hezbollah. The Ukrainian side expressed hope that this issue would be resolved positively.

The two sides also discussed common challenges, including cooperation between Iran and Russia, which poses a threat to the national security of both countries. The Ukrainian ambassador stressed that effective counteraction to this threat is a common interest.

Earlier it was reported that the Israeli Defence Forces are considering the possibility of using the weapons seized from Hezbollah to form new anti-tank units.

The seized samples include a significant number of Soviet and Russian-made items: missiles for the Metis-M and Kornet systems, Strela-2 portable anti-aircraft systems, RPG-29 Vampire and RPG-27 Tavolga grenade launchers. A large number of small arms and ammunition were also found.
