Sonic will return to the big screens in March 2027: Paramount plans to release the 4th film during this period

Paramount Pictures plans to release the fourth Sonic film on 19 March 2027. After the huge success of the third part, which grossed more than $420 million at the global box office, the studio continues to develop the franchise.

Here's What We Know

Sonic the Hedgehog 3 became the second highest-grossing video game film in North America, behind only the Super Mario animated film.

In the new instalment, the audience will see the return of their favourite actors: Ben Schwartz (voice of Sonic), Idris Elba (Knuckles) and Colin O'Shaughnessy (Tails). After the successful introduction of Shadow (Keanu Reeves) in the third part, we can expect new characters and unexpected plot twists.
