The well-known gaming company Team 17, which created Worms, has rebranded: it is now Everyplay

The legendary British gaming company Team17 Group has announced a rebranding that will take effect in early February 2025. The company will now be known as Everyplay Group plc.

CEO Steve Bell explained that the name change reflects the evolution of the business since going public in 2018. "We want to create exciting gaming experiences that inspire players around the world," he said.

It is important to understand that the rebranding will affect only the group of companies. Team17, Astragon, and StoryToys divisions will continue to operate under their usual names. The company was founded in 1990 and is known for its Worms, Overcooked, and Blasphemous games.

Trading in shares under the EVPL ticker will start on Friday. The management hopes that the name Everyplay will become synonymous with the creation of games that will give "life to the game".
