An early version of Tokyo Xtreme Racer has been released on Steam - gamers are excited about the new racing game

Ambitious racing game Tokyo Xtreme Racer from Japanese studio Genki has been released in Steam Early Access.

Tokyo Xtreme Racer (2025) is already available on Steam on 23 January and is receiving "very positive" reviews there, with 95% of players so far left excited about the first full-fledged new instalment of the once iconic series in 20 years.

The racing game will be in Early Access for about four months and during this time the developers promise to make comprehensive changes and improvements taking into account the wishes and comments of gamers.
Half of the story campaign is presented in the early version, and the main focus is on night racing competitions on the streets of Tokyo of the near future and highways, as well as wide opportunities in car customisation. There will also be some new feature that will take into account the skills of players and match them with worthy opponents.
So far Tokyo Xtreme Racer is available only on PC, but most likely in time the game will be released on consoles.
