War with Demons is not for everyone: the system requirements for DOOM: The Dark Ages have been published, and they will upset many people

Immediately after the extensive gameplay of DOOM: The Dark Ages at the Xbox Developer Direct, id Software has opened pre-orders in digital shops, thanks to which the system requirements of the shooter became known.

Here's What We Know

At any graphics settings DOOM: The Dark Ages is characterised by rather high requirements, so it is impossible to run the game on a weak computer. So, players will need RTX 2060 graphics card, 16 GB of RAM and 100 GB of free space on SSD.

Minimum (1080p, 60 fps, "low" graphics settings):

• Operating system: Windows 10/ Win 11 (64Bit);
• processor: AMD Zen 2 or Intel 10th Generation @3.2Ghz with 8 cores/ 16 threads (e.g. AMD Ryzen 7 3700X or Intel Core i7 10700K);
• graphics card: NVIDIA RTX 2060 Super or AMD RX 6600;
• RAM: 16GB;
• disc space: 100GB.

Recommended (1440p/60 FPS/high settings):

Ultra (2160p/ 60 FPS/ ultra settings):

• graphics card: NVIDIA RTX 4080 or AMD RX 7900XT;
• RAM: 32GB;
• disc space: 100GB.

DOOM: The Dark Ages system requirements

In DOOM: The Dark Ages id Software promises a complex and spectacular combat system with a huge number of weapons and ways to destroy enemies, spacious and diverse locations for exploration and the most ambitious story in the history of DOOM, which will be a great starting point for new players, as well as a prequel to DOOM (2016) and DOOM Eternal.

When We Can Expect It

DOOM: The Dark Ages will be released on the 15th of May. The game will be available on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series and will be available immediately on Game Pass.
