Acer has presented a tablet for students: Acer Chromebook Tab 311

Acer has announced a new tablet for the educational process - the Acer Chromebook Tab 311. This device, specially designed for use in classrooms, features a 10.95-inch screen with a resolution of 1920 × 1200 pixels and a refresh rate of 60 Hz.

Here's What We Know

The gadget is powered by a MediaTek Kompanio 520 processor, equipped with 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128 GB of internal storage. To expand the memory, you can use a MicroSD slot up to 2 TB.

The tablet has a 2 MP front camera and a 5 MP main camera with autofocus. It supports Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3 and optional LTE. For the convenience of users, the tablet supports USI 2.0 stylus (sold separately) and a case with a keyboard that allows you to use the tablet as a laptop. A case with a stand that can be adjusted to different angles is available.

The Acer Chromebook Tab 311 complies with MIL-STD 810H, which guarantees military-grade resistance. It also has an 8000 mAh battery that provides up to 10 hours of operation. It can be charged via USB-C and has an audio jack.

The tablet will be available next quarter for $329 in North America, €329 in Europe and AUD 349 in Australia. Against the backdrop of fierce competition from Lenovo, which produces the popular ChromeOS tablets of the Chromebook Duet series, Acer intends to win the attention of educational institutions.

The Acer Chromebook Tab 311's reliability and feature set make it an attractive choice for schools and universities, especially considering the price.
