The Ukrainian unit of the Magyar Birds now has a fibre-optic drone with a range of up to 41 km

The Magyar Birds unmanned systems team announced the development of domestic drones that are controlled via fibre-optic cable and have a flight range of up to 41 kilometres. This figure is the largest among similar systems reported in open sources.
Here's What We Know
It is planned that the production of such drones will reach 1,000 units per month. Accordingly, in a year, the Armed Forces of Ukraine may receive more than 12,000 fibre-optic drones. They will help to effectively destroy the enemy's long-range artillery and medium-range anti-aircraft missile systems.
The war in Ukraine is demonstrating a unique drone technology race in which both sides are constantly improving their capabilities. This is the first war to see such a rapid development of drones. However, the technological advantage of either side is not permanent.
In addition, the drone industry requires not only a conceptual but also a component base. Despite reports of possible restrictions from China on the supply of components for Ukrainian drones, the emergence of drones with a range of 41 kilometres indicates that there are no critical problems with the supply of components.
