A whistleblower has revealed the full specifications of the much-touted Exynos 2500 chip expected in the Galaxy Z Flip 7 smartphones
According to the latest leaks, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 foldable smartphone will be the first device in the Z Flip series to run on its own Exynos chipset. Specifically on the Exynos 2500. If the rumours about the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE are confirmed, it will also feature this chip.
Here's What We Know
Informant @Jukanlosreve has revealed more details about Samsung's 2025 flagship chipset. The processor will consist of one Cortex-X925 main core clocked up to 3.3GHz, two Cortex-A725 cores clocked up to 2.75GHz and five Cortex-A725 cores clocked up to 2.36GHz. There will also be two Cortex-A520 cores up to 1.8GHz, making a total of 10 CPU cores, apparently powered by 16MB of L3 cache.
The Exynos 2500 should support 16-bit quad-channel LPDDR5X memory with a bandwidth of around 9.6 Gbps and UFS 4.X storage. The 1.3GHz Samsung Xclipse 950 embedded GPU is based on AMD's RDNA3.5 architecture, and there is also an integrated NPU capable of delivering 56 TOPs of performance. The integrated image and video processor (ISP) supports resolutions up to 320 MP and can perform 8K@60fps hardware video decoding and 8K@30fps video recording.
The Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Z Flip 7 FE smartphones are expected to arrive in July 2025.
