Samsung Galaxy Flip 7 may not surprise with camera updates: specs leak

Samsung plans to release the Galaxy Flip 7 in 2025, but according to new leaks, the changes in this model will be more software than hardware. This means that the camera will not receive significant updates.

Here's What We Know

According to a source from the Netherlands, there are no new hardware changes planned for the Galaxy Flip 7, and the company will again choose a strategy similar to the Galaxy S25.

According to the leaks, the model will have a dual main camera with a 50 MP main sensor and a 12 MP ultra-wide-angle camera. The front camera will remain unchanged at 10 MP. This set is not a surprise for the brand's fans, as this year's Galaxy S25 and S25+ also did not receive significant camera changes, except that only the S25 Ultra model has a new 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera.

Samsung plans to use software enhancements to improve the quality of photos and videos on the Galaxy Flip 7. In particular, it will use the ProVisual Engine, which will allow for better results in image processing.

It is not yet known whether the new features will be applied to night videos, as the new Exynos 2500 chip is expected to replace the previous Snapdragon 8 Elite.

Insider @Jukanlosreve recently revealed more details about Samsung's 2025 flagship chipset. The processor will consist of one main Cortex-X925 core clocked at up to 3.3 GHz, two Cortex-A725 cores clocked at up to 2.75 GHz, and five Cortex-A725 cores clocked at up to 2.36 GHz. There will also be two Cortex-A520 cores clocked at up to 1.8GHz, for a total of 10 processor cores, apparently powered by 16MB of L3 cache.
