The film takes place between the fifth and sixth episodes of the first season of the series starring Henry Cavill.
Here's What We Know
Screenwriters Mike Ostrowski and Ray Benjamin have said that while they didn't change the basic chronology, they did manage to add an 'interesting little scene' that was cut from the main series. While details of this scene have not been revealed, it is known that actress Anja Chalotra, who plays Jannefer, has recorded new lines for the film.
Ostrowski added: 'Geralt can't let go of Jannefer, even if he tries very hard. She haunts him. Even if he wanted to get rid of her, he couldn't.'
The release of The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep is scheduled for 11 February 2025 on Netflix and will be an addition to the Witcher universe.
