Hyundai Motor expands its R&D centres in Germany

Hyundai Motor has announced the expansion of its R&D centres in Germany by more than 25,000 square metres. The South Korean car manufacturer has already enlarged its test centre at the Nürburgring. In addition, the new "Square Campus" of the Technical Centre (HMETC) in Rüsselsheim will be opened in March 2025.
Here's What We Know
HMETC Ruesselsheim will house Hyundai Motor Group's largest test facility to date for noise, vibration and stiffness testing, as well as state-of-the-art test benches for chassis and drivetrain testing. The facility will focus on improving electric vehicles, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), infotainment and electrification technologies.
