Apple has introduced a new version of the tvOS 18.3 operating system, which is an update to the tvOS 18 version released in September last year.

Here's What We Know

The tvOS 18.3 update is available for Apple TV 4K and Apple TV HD users, and comes more than a month after the previous version of tvOS 18.2 was released.

How To Switch It On

To download tvOS 18.3, users can use the Settings app on their Apple TV device. To do this, open the Settings menu, go to System, Software Update, and start the download. If automatic updates are enabled, the system will update to the new version of tvOS 18.3 automatically.

No significant new features were found during the beta testing of tvOS 18.3, but this version does include a new warning message regarding the sale of digital movies and TV shows.

Apple also updated the software for its HomePod and HomePod mini devices to version 18.3. It's worth noting that the HomePod software is based on tvOS, so the update for these devices also includes the fixes and improvements available in tvOS 18.3.

tvOS 18 brings several new features for users. In particular, it introduces InSight for Apple TV+, which improves personalised recommendations. A new Portraits splash screen has also been added, which adds aesthetic value to users' viewing experience. Dialogue and subtitle enhancement features have been improved, which significantly improves the perception of multimedia content. The important news is the integration with iPhone and FaceTime.
