TCL unveiled the P10 Color Ink Eye Protection smartphone that supports NXTPAPER screen technology

TCL, which is better known for its TVs, has unveiled a new P10 Color Ink Eye Protection smartphone in China, which is already available for purchase at a price of 1998 yuan ($276).

Here's What We Know

The device features a 6.78-inch screen with NXTPAPER technology, which has a resolution of 1080 × 2460 and a refresh rate of 120Hz. TCL's NXTPAPER technology offers a glare-free, paper-like viewing experience, prioritising eye comfort and energy efficiency. The screen has a matte anti-glare surface that minimises glare and filters over 50% of harmful blue light, reducing eye strain during prolonged use.

The smartphone has a Dimensity 6000 series processor inside and offers configurations with 12GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB of inbuilt storage. The TCL P10 also features a triple rear camera including a 108 MP main camera, an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2 MP macro lens. For selfies, there is a 32 MP front camera.

A unique feature is the NXTPAPER button on the side, which allows users to quickly activate the super reading mode for a better reading experience. The phone measures 167.6 x 75.5 x 7.99 mm and weighs 196 g, and features a 5010 mAh battery for long usage time.
