The Dying Light games have been a major success for Techland over the past ten years, and the Polish developer has no plans to slow down. On the eve of the 10th anniversary of the series, Techland announced ambitious plans to expand the franchise with several new projects.

In a recent press release, the studio reaffirmed its commitment to the intellectual property, stating that it would "continue the series with several unannounced projects".

Although details remain unknown, it is likely that Dying Light 3 is not far off. In the meantime, ongoing support for Dying Light 2: Stay Human remains a possibility, especially considering how long the original Dying Light received updates after launch.

In addition to new games, Techland is also expanding its activities in other forms of media. The developer is planning to expand the Dying Light universe with board games, exclusive merchandise, and an original webcomic series.

Here's What We Know

In the summer of 2025, Techland will release Dying Light: The Beast, a standalone spin-off that will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
