Astro Bot and Black Myth: Wukong lead the way in terms of nominations at Game Developers Choice Awards 2025

The organisers of the 25th annual Game Developers Choice Awards have announced the list of nominees, with Astro Bot and Black Myth: Wukong receiving seven nominations each, making them the leaders.

Here's What We Know

Both games are in the running for Game of the Year alongside such projects as Balatro, Helldivers 2, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, and Metaphor: ReFantazio.

Other categories where these games are represented include Best Design, Best Technology, and Best Sound.

Also worth noting are indie hits Animal Well, which received five nominations, and Balatro with four nominations.

The awards ceremony will take place on 19 March 2025 during the GDC conference in San Francisco.
