Vivo V50 appeared in Geekbench ahead of its launch with a Snapdragon chip
Vivo is gearing up to launch the Vivo V50 smartphone in the Indian market. The rear panel design of the device has already surfaced online and resembles the Vivo S20, but with a curved display on all sides instead of a flat one.
Here's What We Know
The Vivo V50 was earlier spotted on several certification websites such as SIRIM, IMDA, EEC, TDRA, NBTC, NCC and BIS. Now, the device with model number V2427 has appeared in the Geekbench database where it has received a 4122 Vulkan score. The database reveals that the device will be powered by an eight-core processor clocked at 1.80GHz, 2.40GHz and 2.63GHz, which hints at a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip. According to the leak, the device will come with 8GB of RAM, Adreno 720 GPU and Android 15 OS.
Vivo has previously used the same chip in the Vivo V30 and Vivo V40 smartphones, and now the Vivo V50 will be the third V-series device with this chipset. The Vivo V50 is expected to be launched between the 18th and 22nd of February. The device will be available in Dark Blue, Grey, Shimmer White and a new Red Rose colour.
