Last month, Samsung launched its new flagship Galaxy S25 series smartphones that come pre-installed with One UI 7 based on Android 15. Now, it has been reported that Samsung is rolling out the very first One UI 7 update on the Galaxy S25 series smartphones with a huge download size.

Here's What We Know

The guys at SamMobile, who have the firmware available, report that the download size of the first update for all Galaxy S25 series models is 24 GB. For comparison, that's 10GB more than the first update for the Galaxy S24 Ultra, which weighed in at around 14GB last year. The latest One UI 7 update on the Galaxy S25 series will reportedly be released first in the US and Europe.

The European variants of the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus and Galaxy S25 Ultra will receive the new firmware version S93xBXXU1AYA1. On the other hand, the US variants are available with the new software version S93xUSQU1AYA1.

The first update for the Galaxy S25 series also includes a security patch dated December 2024. However, it's unclear what additional features the latest update might include because Samsung hasn't officially announced anything yet.
