Samsung's Galaxy S25 smartphones have received more pre-orders than the previous Galaxy S24 lineup over the same period

Samsung has announced that the Galaxy S25 series has broken pre-order records in South Korea, surpassing the previous Galaxy S24 lineup.
Here's What We Know
The company received 1.3 million pre-orders for the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra, up 7.4 per cent from last year's Galaxy S24 series. The Galaxy S25 Ultra was the most popular model, accounting for 52 per cent of all pre-orders. The Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ took 26% and 22% respectively.
The entire Galaxy S25 line-up is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite flagship chip. The Galaxy S25 Ultra also gets an improved Gorilla Glass Armor 2 screen protector, an upgraded ultra-wide-angle camera, a thinner and lighter body, and several new artificial intelligence features. While the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ didn't get any significant hardware improvements other than a new chip. This is likely the reason why they are less popular than the top-of-the-line model.
