Samsung launches Wallet app support in three more European countries

Samsung has announced the launch of its Samsung Wallet digital wallet in three new countries in Europe - Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. From 7 February, users in these countries will be able to take full advantage of the app, which allows them to store digital keys, boarding passes, ID cards and more.

Here's What We Know

The launch of Samsung Wallet coincides with the release of the new Galaxy S25 series of smartphones, as the wallet requires One UI 7, available only on these devices for now. The update will also be available for older models like the Galaxy S24 and others in the future.

Samsung Wallet also includes Samsung Pass features that allow you to store passwords and offers a high level of security with Knox, which includes fingerprint scanning and data encryption.

Virtual Car Keys are supported on select BMW models (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,Z4,M2,M3,M4,M5,M8,X1,X3,X5,X6,X6,X7,X5M,X6M,iX3,iX,iX,i4,i7,iX1,XM), Mini (Cooper, Countryman, released after 2024), Volvo EX90, Polestar 3, Audi (A5, S5, A6 e-tron, A7, Q5, Q6 e-tron, released after October 2024), KIA EV9 and Hyundai KONA.

This feature is supported by Galaxy S series smartphones starting with the Galaxy S20 line (except S20 FE), Note 20 series, Z Flip series and Z Fold series starting with the Z Fold2 model.

The company plans to continue expanding Samsung Wallet by bringing in new partners and developers to make the app even more useful and accessible to users around the world.
