Jeep has unveiled a new "Limited" package for its 2025 model year Wagoneer S electric SUV. This version is cheaper than the previous Launch Edition, but also less powerful. That said, the full power can be unlocked at an additional cost with an over-the-air upgrade.

Here's What We Know

The Wagoneer S Limited costs from $66,995 (including delivery), which is $5,000 cheaper than the Launch Edition. It's worth noting, though, that the Launch Edition is available now with a $3,000 discount that will be valid until March.

Previously, the Wagoneer S was only offered in the Launch Edition with 600 hp electric motors, a 1,200-watt McIntosh audio system and a large touchscreen. In the new package, Jeep has limited the power to 500bhp and reduced the number of standard features for the sake of lowering the price.

Most interestingly, the Wagoneer S Limited has the same mechanical stuffing as the Launch Edition (two electric motors and all-wheel drive), but full power is locked at the software level. To unlock it, it will be necessary to pay for an over-the-air upgrade called Propulsion Boost Package. The cost of such an option will be announced later in 2025.

A Mcintosh audio system and a screen for the front passenger in the Limited trim have become optional. At the same time, new body (Hydro Blue) and interior (Arctic Grey) colours have been added. Standard equipment includes a dual-panel panoramic roof, 20-inch alloy wheels, heated seats and more than 170 safety features. The car is also equipped with the Selec-Terrain 4xe traction control system.

Range is not reported, but we can assume that the less powerful Limited may have a slightly longer range than the Launch Edition (300 miles or 482 kilometres). The Wagoneer S can be charged from 20 to 80 per cent in 23 minutes using a DC fast charger. All versions of the model will come with a Level 2 home charger or charging credits on Stellantis' Free2move network.

Orders for the 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S are already being taken online and deliveries to dealers in the US will begin shortly.
