The developers of Chernobylite 2 have revealed an early release date and unveiled the game's cinematic trailer

Polish studio The Farm 51 shared important news about the ambitious RPG with shooter and survival elements Chernobylite 2: Exclusion Zone.

Here's What We Know

The company announced that the game will be released in Steam Early Access on the 6th of March, and those who financially supported its development will soon get the demo version and will be able to participate in beta testing.

Thanks to the contributions on Kickstarter of not indifferent gamers, the developers managed to bring a lot of additional elements and mechanics to the game, and in the future there will be even more.

It is stated that Chernobylite 2: Exclusion Zone will feature:

• improved first-person combat;
• all weapons from the first part;
• first-person weapon customisation;
• additional unique maps for co-operative and single player playthrough.

The developer hasn't revealed how much Chernobylite 2: Exclusion Zone is in Early Access, but the game will definitely be released on consoles at some point.

The Farm 51 studio presented an atmospheric cinematic trailer, in which the characters of Chernobyl Lite 2 are sweetly chatting around a campfire and discussing the properties of the mineral whose name the game is named after.

Chernobylite 2: Exclusion Zone will be a direct sequel to the niche but highly praised 2019 game and is conceptually similar to Ukraine's STALKER, but with less emphasis on realism.

Players will once again travel to the Chernobyl Zone and explore gloomy locations, learn eerie secrets, engage in fights with bandits and various monsters and, of course, collect the mineral "Chernobylite", rendered in the game's title.

The sequel can boast of excellent graphics and highly detailed environment, but judging by the footage we shouldn't expect the level of STALKER 2.
