The developers of Gothic Remake have revealed new footage and announced a documentary about the making of the game

THQ Nordic publishing house and Alkimia Interactive studio have published a special video dedicated to the remake of the cult RPG Gothic.

Here's What We Know

This time the developers not only showed new footage of the game, but also announced a documentary film that will demonstrate the process of creating Gothic Remake.

In a short teaser, the developers mentioned that their main goal was to preserve the atmosphere and main gameplay mechanics of the original Gothic (2001). Gameplay designers wanted the new elements to refresh the game, but not to change it too much, and how this was achieved will be told in the mini-series Making of, which will be published on the 7th of February.

When We Can Expect It

It's still unknown when Gothic Remake will be released. It is expected to be in 2025.

The game will be available on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
