Stocks of iPad Air and MacBook Air in Apple stores are rapidly decreasing, indicating that new models will be launched soon.

Here's What We Know

According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, the company is preparing to introduce an updated MacBook Air with the M4 chip, as well as new iPad Airs in the first half of 2025.

The new MacBook Air is expected to feature a powerful M4 chip that will provide significantly better performance than its predecessors. As for the iPad Air, according to Gurman, there is a possibility that the new model will be equipped with the M4 chip, although some sources indicate that Apple may opt for the M3, which is inferior to the M4 in terms of performance, but is also very powerful for a tablet.

In addition, the new iPad Air 7 will have an updated Magic Keyboard. Unlike the model for iPad Pro, it will not have an aluminium top case, but is likely to receive additional function keys, which will make it more convenient to use.

Apple is also working on a new 11th generation of the basic iPad. Gourmet reports that this device will receive the A17 Pro chip, which is already used in the iPhone 15 Pro and iPad mini 7. This chip supports Apple Intelligence technologies, which will allow the new iPad to work with intelligent functions. The new iPad is also expected to have at least 8 GB of RAM.

Gurman also noted that the new iPhone SE 4 could be unveiled next week, along with PowerBeats Pro 2 headphones. However, the new MacBook Air and iPad are likely to debut a little later, closer to spring.
