Medievalism pulls gamers in: sales of hit city-building strategy game Manor Lords have surpassed 3 million copies

The historical city-building strategy game Manor Lords was released at the end of April 2024 and became one of the biggest hits and a real discovery in the indie sector. Only in the first day more than one million copies were sold!

And today it became known about overcoming another important milestone.

Publisher Hooded Horse has announced that Manor Lords has sold over three million copies in just 9 months, which for a game in a niche genre that is in Early Access is, without exaggeration, a phenomenal result.

Manor Lords is available for purchase on Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store and Microsoft Store, but the actual number of gamers who have checked out the game is well over 3 million, as the strategy game is available in the PC Game Pass subscription.

Grzegorz Styczeń, a lone game designer, has repeatedly stated that he didn't expect such interest in his project and due to the huge popularity of Manor Lords he even had to assemble a team to speed up the release of updates.

The developer has a huge amount of work ahead of him, but the sales of Manor Lords show that his labours are not in vain.
