Uninformative but interesting: the developers of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow and Metroid Dread have announced a fantasy RPG codenamed Project Iron

MercurySteam is rarely mentioned in the information space, as it doesn't have many games. The developer is known for two parts of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow and the highly appreciated Nintendo Switch exclusive Metroid Dread.

But the Spanish collective has given a great reason to reminisce.

Here's What We Know

MercurySteam presented a teaser of the new game with the working title "Project Iron".

The development is being done in conjunction with renowned European publisher 505 Games, but there are no details yet. According to scrappy information, it will be a single-player action-RPG in a dystopian fantasy setting with a third-person view.

The description reminds a bit of Lords of Shadow, but it's hardly related to Castlevania franchise, because in that case its publisher would be Konami.

MercurySteam produces great games, so there is no reason to believe that Project Iron will disappoint the public.
