OnePlus 13R has received a new software update with camera improvements, enhanced security and real-time translation features

OnePlus has released OxygenOS 15.0.0.406 update for the OnePlus 13R smartphone. The update includes camera improvements, more stable Wi-Fi connectivity and new translation features using artificial intelligence.

Here's What We Know

The update is rolling out to OnePlus 13R devices globally in small batches and a wider rollout is expected to begin in a few days.

The Indian model will receive firmware version CPH2691_15.0.0.0.406(EX01), the North American model will receive CPH2647_15.0.0.0.406(EX01), while global and European models will receive CPH2645_15.0.0.0.406(EX01). New AI translation features include real-time speech translation and Split View face-to-face translation. Users can now hear translations in headphones and start face-to-face translation with a single tap on the headphones. A more detailed description of the update can be found below:

  • Integrates Android security patch from January 2025 to improve system security.

Artificial Intelligence translation

  • Added real-time translation function that shows real-time speech translation.
  • Added face-to-face translation feature that shows the translation of each speaker in Split View.
  • You can now hear the translation on headphones.
  • You can now start face-to-face translation with one tap on headphones (only supported on some headphones). The translation of one language is played through the phone's speaker, while the translation of the other language is played in the headphones.
