Samsung is reportedly already preparing a new firmware for the Galaxy Z Flip 7 in full swing

After releasing the Galaxy S25 flagships, Samsung is starting a new phase by focusing on its foldable devices, which will be unveiled at its second Unpacked event this summer.
Here's What We Know
Firmware development for the Galaxy Z Flip 7 is reportedly well underway, especially for the European market. Firmware for other regions, as well as for the Galaxy Z Fold 7, is also expected to be in development. Whether the device will run on One UI 7 or One UI 7.1 remains an open question, but experts are leaning towards the 7.1 version as every new Samsung flagship gets an updated version of One UI.
According to the latest leaks and rumours, this year promises to be a busy one for Samsung in terms of device releases. The Galaxy S25 Edge ultra-thin smartphone is expected to be released in the coming months, along with the new Samsung XR headset, while the company will unveil the Fold 7 and Flip 7 series of foldable smartphones at its next Unpacked event in the summer. It is quite possible that the Flip 7 FE model will join them. A second version of the Fold SE exclusive foldable flagship is also expected, but whether it will come out with the main lineup or at the end of the year like last time remains to be seen.
