Lenovo Xiaoxin Pro 2025 has made its debut in China: 2.8K OLED and Intel Ultra

Lenovo has announced four new laptops of the Xiaoxin Pro 2025 series, which are already available for pre-order in China. Sales will start on 18 February. The lineup includes the Pro 14/16 GT AI Yuanqi Edition and Pro 14/16 2025 Core Edition models.

Here's What We Know

The GT AI Yuanqi Edition is equipped with Intel Core Ultra 5 125H or Ultra 9 185H processors, 32 GB LPDDR5x-8533 RAM, and a 1 TB SSD (PCIe 4.0). The standard Pro 14/16 models are equipped with a Core 5 120H processor (equivalent to i5-13500H) and 24 GB of DDR5 RAM.

All laptops have a 2.8K OLED SSR Starry Comfort Screen (14 or 16 inches) with up to 1100 nits brightness, 100% DCI-P3, ∆E<1 colour accuracy, DisplayHDR True Black 1000 certification, variable refresh rate (30-120 Hz) and three levels of eye protection.

The Pro 16 GT AI Yuanqi Edition additionally has two PCIe 4.0 slots (2242 and 2280), an 84Wh battery, a magnesium-aluminium alloy body (1.72kg), and a wide range of ports: two Thunderbolt 4, USB-A, HDMI 2.1, SD card reader, and Wi-Fi 7. There's also a Full HD IR camera with a protective shutter and a ToF sensor. Standard models do not support dual SSDs and have less RAM.

Pre-orders are open, but prices have not yet been announced.

Asus has also released the ultra-light (960 g) ZenBook 14 Air Snapdragon Edition laptop with Qualcomm Snapdragon X processor. Its body is made of ceramic aluminium, which increases durability. The new product is available for pre-order on JD.com in China, and sales will start on 14 February.

Lenovo recently introduced the Chromebook Plus 2-in-1 with a touchscreen display and Intel Core i7 processor.
