Official cases for the Google Pixel 9a have appeared on the internet, which will echo the colour of the smartphone's body colour

Ahead of the imminent release of the low-cost smartphone Google Pixel 9a, renders of official silicone cases for this model have appeared.

The guys at Android Authority, thanks to a source at Google, were able to reveal the design and all the colours of these cases. The design is similar to the cases for the rest of the Pixel 9 series, but without the raised edge around the camera. The cases will be available in four colours to match the colours of the phone: pink (Peony), black (Obsidian), purple (Iris) and white (Porcelain).

The cases have a soft silicone exterior and microfibre lining on the inside. There is also "Pixel" branding on the inside and Google's "G" logo on the outside. The cases are expected to cost around $29.99, the same as the Pixel 8a cases.

Pre-orders for the Pixel 9a will start on 19 March, with actual sales expected to start from 26 March.
