Get your popcorn ready: the animated film The Witcher: Sirens of The Deep has been released on Netflix

An animated film based on The Witcher universe premiered on Netflix streaming service.

Here's What We Know

The Witcher: Sirens of The Deep is based on Andrzej Sapkowski's story "A Little Sacrifice" from the book The Sword of Destiny.

In the story, Geralt and his trusty companion Buttercup (Jaskier) meet his old friend, the sorceress Yennefer, and together they set out to find a sea monster that is terrorising a fishing village.

Along the way, Geralt and Yennefer encounter a siren who, like her prototype from The Little Mermaid, traded her fish tail for human legs to be with her lover, but every step she takes is given to her with great pain, so over time it has become her curse.

Geralt, voiced by Doug Cockle (the voice of the Witcher in CD Projekt's games), must battle dangerous monsters from the depths of the sea to help the siren.

The film is available in multiple languages, you can choose either voiceover or subtitles.
