Marvel Rivals authors abandon plan to reset player ranks in the middle of the season

This week, NetEase developers announced plans to reset player ranks in the middle of the season. However, after a wave of negative feedback from the community, the company quickly changed its mind.

Here's What We Know

Initially, NetEase planned to implement the rank reset on 21 February, simultaneously with the addition of new characters - Richard Reed (Mr Fantastic) and Johnny Storm (the Human Torch) from the Fantastic Four.

However, players have expressed concern that frequent rank resets every 45 days will create additional pressure and reduce the enjoyment of the game.

In response to the feedback, NetEase announced that there will be no mid-season rank resets. Players will keep their current ranks until the end of the season.

Therefore, it is very good that the authors quickly listen to players, because without this, no game service will last long.
