Take the helm of ale production: the unusual Ale Abbey game has been given an early access Steam release date
Publishing house Shiro Unlimited and studio Hammer Ravens named the release date in early access of an interesting indie game Ale Abbey, which will allow gamers to feel like the abbot of a medieval monastery, but in addition to services and instructions they will have one more important thing to do.
Here's What We Know
It is known that in European medieval monasteries often brewed ale not only for their own needs, but also for sale. It is this process that will be the main activity in Ale Abbey.
Players must erect their own monastery and organise the production of ale. But in addition, it is necessary to take into account the will of the ruler of the land, to build relationships with rival abbeys and find common ground with bandits. And most importantly, you will have to learn how to brew ale, invent recipes, add new ingredients, take into account the subtleties of the temperature regime, pick up interesting names for drinks and sell it profitably. Gamers will have access to five markets and eleven types of beer, but by the release of the full version there will be much more.
Graphically, the game is designed in a pixelated style, but offers extensive gameplay options and an interesting narrative.
The developer said that Ale Abbey will be released in Steam Early Access next week - on the 18th of February and will stay on this stage for four to ten months.
