In Assassin's Creed: Shadows, you won't have to play the same amount of time as both protagonists - Ubisoft

In Assassin's Creed Shadows, players will experience the story on behalf of two protagonists, each with unique strengths and weaknesses. However, creative director Jonathan Dumont assured players that choosing one character over the other will not lead to the loss of significant content.

Here's What We Know

Although both characters share the main storyline, Dumont noted that each of them has exclusive quests related to their individual backgrounds. For example, Yasuke cannot participate in Naoe's personal quest line, as these storylines are designed to suit each character's specific needs.

Dumont also emphasised that Assassin's Creed Shadows does not aim to force players to divide their time between two characters. Players can focus on one protagonist, whether it is Naoe with her stealth and agility or Yasuke with his strength and slow pace. Dumont shared his own experience of spending a few hours with one character and then switching to another to change his playstyle.

Where To Play

Assassin's Creed: Shadow will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC.

When We Can Expect It

The game is scheduled for release on the 20th of March this year.
