Neowiz has officially announced Lies of P: Overture, the prequel to its hit Soulslike Lies of P. Originally planned as DLC, this new instalment expands the game's world by adding new locations, formidable bosses, and a deeper story.

Here's What We Know

Overture is set in the last days of Krat's life before the Puppet Frenzy massacre, as he uncovers hidden truths and sinister secrets while chasing the mysterious Stalker. Winter scenery adds to the eerie atmosphere, with snowy landscapes and new areas to explore.

Players will encounter new terrifying enemies, including a monstrous shark, a huge creature and a boss armed with huge chains and iron spheres. To survive, P gains access to new weapons, such as sharp claws, a bow and a sword that quickly cuts through the air, which increase combat versatility. The story teases with choices that can affect both the past and the future, potentially determining the direction of the next instalment.
