Gearbox unveiled a spectacular Borderlands 4 trailer and revealed the shooter's release date

Unexpectedly at the State of Play show, Gearbox Studios revealed the release date for the Borderlands 4 shooter.

In a new trailer with upbeat music developers showed a huge variety of weapons, enemies and locations that await players on a brand new planet Kairos.

Gearbox also announced that the release of Borderlands 4 will take place on 23 September on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series, and Sony promised to hold a special edition of State of Play in spring 2025, fully dedicated to Borderlands 4.

Recall, earlier the developers emphasised that Borderlands 4 is their most ambitious and coolest project.
