Currently, Ubisoft is actively preparing for the March release of Assassin's Creed Shadows, and at the same time, it answered several popular questions during the Q&A session. There, the company's director Yves Guilemot said that he plans to continue releasing open-world games and live services every year.

Here's What We Know

He emphasised the imminent launch of Assassin's Creed Shadows and outlined significant plans for the Rainbow Six franchise on all platforms for the next year. Besides, Ubisoft announced the release of Anno 117: Pax Romana and The Division: Resurgence for mobile devices next year. Although specific details regarding FY2026 remain under wraps, more information is expected by May.

These changes follow Ubisoft's recent decision to close Ubisoft Leamington and lay off more than 185 employees across its European studios in order to improve operational efficiency and ensure long-term sustainability. Despite these challenges, the company remains steadfast in its strategy to strengthen its position in the open-world and live-service games market.
