Lava releases new Prowatch X with AMOLED screen and up to 10 days of battery life
Lava has presented a new smartwatch Prowatch X, which is the fourth addition to the brand's product line, which already includes the Prowatch ZN, Prowatch VN, and Prowatch V1 models.
Here's What We Know
The new model features a 1.43-inch round AMOLED screen with a resolution of 466x466 pixels, protected by Gorilla Glass 3. The display brightness is 500 nits, and thanks to the Always-On function, the screen always remains active. Users can choose from over 100 watch faces.
The Prowatch X case is made of aluminium alloy with sandblasted and oxidised finishes, making it lightweight and stylish.
The smartwatch is powered by the Actions ATS3085C chipset and supports over 100 sports modes. Additionally, the Prowatch X has sleep monitoring, VO2 Max, variable heart rate, and automatic and manual blood oxygen level (SpO2) measurement.
Other features include body energy monitoring, which tracks heart activity, stress, sleep quality, and activity throughout the day to assess energy levels in real time. The watch also has built-in GPS, an ambient sound sensor, and supports Bluetooth calls.
The Prowatch X is IP68-rated, which allows it to be used underwater, including when swimming. The smartwatch is equipped with a 300 mAh battery that provides up to 10 days of operation under normal conditions. Thanks to Bluetooth 5.3, it is compatible with Android and iOS devices.
The price of the new product is INR 4,499 (about $52/€50). It comes with three different straps: silicone, nylon, and metal. Pre-orders are available in India via Flipkart until 18 February, and sales will start on 21 February.
