Users of Samsung's new flagship Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra smartphones are complaining about slow charging speeds. While all three devices have the same charging speed as their predecessors, many users are reporting that their phones are not charging even at the claimed rates.

Here's What We Know

On forums and social media, users are reporting that even when using Samsung's official 45W charger and 5A cable, their phones periodically switch between plugged and unplugged states. In some cases, the charging speed is as low as 15W and sometimes even drops to 5-10W.

Samsung has acknowledged the problem and said it will soon release a software update to fix it. While waiting for the update, users are advised to use the included 3A cable and also disable the fast charging feature.

Samsung promises that it will soon release an update that will resolve the issue and improve device charging.
