Oppo Find N5 will allow you to control your MacBook directly from your smartphone

Oppo is preparing to unveil the Find N5, which will have a unique feature - integration with macOS via remote access. This will be made possible by Oppo Office Assistant, which will use the design features of the foldable smartphone.

Here's What We Know

If you bend Oppo Find N5 at a 90° angle, the top of the screen will show the Mac desktop, and the bottom will become the macOS touch keyboard. This will allow you to control your computer remotely as if you were working on a laptop.

In addition to remote control, users will be able to quickly transfer files from their Mac to Find N5 with a simple drag and drop. The functionality resembles classic remote access, but with optimisation for the smartphone's complex display.

Apple is not involved in this integration, as the company traditionally restricts access to its ecosystem. It is not yet known whether this feature will appear on other devices with ColorOS 15.

The Oppo Find N5 has already been partially revealed in previous leaks, and the full announcement is scheduled for 20 February.

OPPO has recently announced new accessories for its upcoming foldable flagship Find N5, which will be unveiled on 20 February 2025 alongside the smartphone.

The lineup includes three magnetic accessories for wireless charging: a 50W AIRVOOC magnetic small turbine, a 5000mAh magnetic external battery, and a Type-C to Type-C magnetic data cable.

The smartphone will be available in three colours: Dusk Purple, Jade White and Satin Black.
