Bandai Namco to share new details about Digimon Story: Time Stranger on the 20th of March
Almost eight years after the release of Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth, the franchise is back with a long-awaited return in the form of Digimon Story: Time Stranger. New details of the game, which will be released later this year, will be revealed at Digimon Con 2025 on 20 March, where the developer will share the latest updates of the game.
Here's What We Know
So far, we know that Time Stranger will feature time travel and exploration of parallel worlds. Players will visit the Iliad, the Digital World, and take part in various quests. The series' signature turn-based combat is back, offering deep customisation and a wide selection of Digimon for countless strategic opportunities. Visually, the game boasts a significant upgrade from the previous instalment, making battles and environments more immersive.
The plot is based on a mystery surrounding the collapse of the world, and players may have a chance to prevent it. How this relates to Cyber Sleuth remains to be seen, but fans have a lot to look forward to. Stay tuned for more details, and in the meantime, check out our review of Digimon Survive, which is coming in 2022.
Where To Play
After the release, Digimon Story: Time Stranger will be available on Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, and PC.
