Samsung updates Galaxy A13: February security patch is now available for users in the US and Europe

Samsung has released a new software update for its Galaxy A13 4G and Galaxy A13 5G smartphones. They received the February 2025 security patch, which addresses a number of vulnerabilities.
Here's What We Know
Both devices are on a quarterly update schedule, so this is the first of four security updates they will receive this year.
So far, the update is available for the US carrier version of the Galaxy A13 (version A135USQSBEYA1) and the European version of the Galaxy A13 5G (A136BXXSADYB1).
Samsung smartphones automatically check for updates, but it may take some time.

How To Switch It On
To get the update faster, go to Settings, Software Update, Download and Install.
You can also manually download the firmware from Samsung's database or other trusted sources and install it via Odin on your PC.
The Galaxy A13 4G and A13 5G will not receive the One UI 7.0 update based on Android 15. Instead, Samsung's new budget models already support up to four major OS updates.
Samsung has also started rolling out a new software update for its Galaxy A35 smartphone, which was released last year.
It is worth noting that Samsung is already working on the Galaxy A36, the successor to the Galaxy A35. According to rumours, the new product will have an updated design, a more powerful processor, better cameras, and faster charging. It is expected that the Galaxy A36 will be presented in March 2025, as the Galaxy A35 was released in March 2024.
The Samsung Galaxy A26 5G may come with memory card support.
