The first One UI 7 test firmware for the upcoming Galaxy Fold 7 has already appeared on Samsung's servers

After the Galaxy S25 flagships went on sale, Samsung is already busy developing software for its next flagship smartphone, the Galaxy Fold 7. The first version of the software for the US version of the Fold 7 has been spotted on Samsung's servers.

Here's What We Know

Usually, Samsung releases its foldable phones with One UI version x.1.1, where "x" is the current version of One UI. But this time, the company might skip the One UI 7.1.1 release due to the delay in the One UI 7.0 stable update for existing phones. Perhaps the Galaxy Fold 7 and Galaxy Flip 7 will be released with One UI 7.0.1.

According to the latest rumours, the Galaxy Fold 7 will get a screen size comparable to the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition model, which is larger than the Galaxy Fold 6's direct predecessor. The phone could have a 6.5-inch external screen and an 8-inch internal foldable screen, which is rumoured to be crease-free. It is also reported that this model will not support S Pen.

Some sources claim that the Galaxy Fold 7 will be thinner than 10mm and will get a 4,400mAh battery with 45W fast charging support. In addition to this, there are reports that the smartphone will feature a 200 MP main camera, Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, at least 16 GB of RAM and at least 256 GB of inbuilt storage. Like its predecessor, the Fold 7 is likely to get an IP68 rating, stereo speakers and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
