The indie game Pacific Drive, developed by Ironwood Studios, has achieved a remarkable result in a year since its release, having sold more than one million copies. This is a significant achievement for a team of less than 20 people.

Here's What We Know

Pacific Drive, which was released in February 2024, offers a unique survival experience, combining elements of driving and exploration. Players must travel through a surreal version of the Pacific Northwest, collecting resources and avoiding anomalies. The game focuses on car repair, which adds an extra level of complexity and interactivity.

Ironwood Studios has also released various updates and a number of cosmetic DLCs over the year, and announced the biggest and most significant update on the way.
