A spectacular Dune: Awakening trailer has revealed the release date for the ambitious survival simulator

Funcom studio presented a spectacular trailer of the ambitious survival simulator Dune: Awakening, which answered the main question of gamers.

Here's What We Know

First things first: Dune: Awakening will be released on 20th May only on PC, and release dates for PlayStation and Xbox will be announced later.

The developer showed a lot of colourful shots and impressive landscapes of the desert planet Arrakis, where players will get after the crash of the spaceship as a prisoner.

Funcom showed off the main features of Dune: Awakening, including a dynamic weather and cataclysmic system, extensive gameplay options in character development and equipment upgrades, a solid selection of vehicles (ornithopter, off-road vehicles, tricycles and more) and, of course, giant sandworms, which will be a serious challenge.

Dune: Awakening is positioned and looks like an extremely ambitious game that could change the concept of survival simulators and bring new ideas to the genre that have been missing for a long time.
