Bolder to board: Sea of Thieves has launched its fifteenth season with a huge amount of new additions
The popular pirate co-op game Sea of Thieves has launched its 15th season, which is called Wild Things and offers a huge amount of new content.
Here's What We Know
Studio Rare prepared gamers a lot of interesting activities.
So, in the fifteenth season pirates will face two new Megalodons - Feared Redmaw and Barnacled Dread.
The former is capable of setting ships on fire and exploding, so it's worth keeping your distance, while the latter is covered in thick coral armour and can only be defeated by knocking its shell off. The Shell Terror is also able to strike with electricity and summon hostile creatures aboard your ship.
Sea of Thieves also introduced a few additional non-aggressive sea creatures.
The developers have significantly updated the faction "Brotherhood of Hunters": players can now join this organisation, become their emissaries, sail under their flag and, by completing quests, gain reputation faster.
"Brotherhood of Hunters" will offer quests related to fishing, the places for which will be marked by bubbles on the water.
Of course, the game has also added a new season pass for 100 levels of fame with new rewards, including a Hungering One Hunter clothing set, collectibles and cosmetic items. The premium version of the pass offers even more interesting items.
Sea of Thieves is available on MS, Xbox (and Game Pass) and PlayStation 5. Sea of Thieves 2024 Edition is heavily discounted on Steam until 22 February.
